I took the liberty of swapping my A4 brakes into S4 brakes, all for 600 dollars. The brakes should response much better, stronger, and use much less pedal force. Your brakes when the engine is off should be REALLY hard if properly bled.

Yea its a direct fit in the oem location. The only thing you need to do is cut the oem connectors off the oem IC hoses and then hose clam them to the S3 IC.
Did this conversion on my 2001 Audi A4 with a standalone. I ran it with stock (3ms) dwell and up to 5ms dwell and didnt notice any difference. I was running Hitatchi coils before and would notice slight bumps in idle. Now all I hear is smooth butter at idle.
I have noticed my car is "running better" with the Rotella, and i have not had to top it off at all compared to running Motul 5w40 i had to add quite a bit over my OCI.
I have since upgraded to oem rs2 brake brackets with porsche 996 calipers and audi s8 rotors, everything was bolt on with good clearances.
Replace battery with OEM battery AFS still in operable on and off.
Mine just failed at 71,000 kms. Was pushing nothing but warm air.
