Reviews of OEM Audi parts For Business
Germany
I had a brake job done a few months ago for the A4 with Audi for 1000 EUR. Just got the quote for the same job on the Q7 and it is 2300 EUR.
I went through this as well. I bought a used 2016 Q3 with 80,000 miles on it. Ran great for a couple months then I started getting an intermittent engine light. Had it checked by a dealer and was told it was the intake manifold, not just the gasket. The repair was $3500, no turbo issues, so I bit the bullet. It’s my wife’s daily driver now, runs as good as it should.
Stock 2018 with 68k. Mine has been solid and a blast to drive. Finally dealing with the water pump issue, but nothing until now.
Have a prestige trim 9.5 S5 and wear polarized sunglasses 99.9% of the time I get in the car and they\u2019ve never caused any issues with legibility for the HUD.
Drove the car in the snow storm over the weekend. Did not feel safe with the summer tires on. Also, front windshield wipers froze. Had to pull over twice to scrape the ice off the front windshield. Otherwise a nice SUV. Comfortable and very powerful. Time will tell about the reliability. Cheers
As a good example, we were surprised to learn that the brakes were shot at just 33k miles. A quote to replace everything with OEM was insanely expensive... around $6k if I recall correctly.
It's mystifying why Audi has such problems with wipers. The OEM wiper blades on the B9 cars are absolute garbage.
I had a check engine on my SQ7 throwing an under boost code. My brother (a master tech) conferred with a colleague and determined that the water pump was starting to leak and check engine went on because coolant was already finding its way into other components. I wasted no time and just had the work done rather than risk potential bigger issues with turbos etc.
Just had my water pump done on my S4 last week while it was at the dealer for the engine knocking. My Brake pedal was very stiff if the car sat overnight, almost like concrete. The tech found coolant in the vacuum line, the Brake Pedal was losing Vacume and making it extremely stiff after sitting overnight. Turned out my water pump went bad, I never smelled any coolant and did not have any warning lights.
