I'm just pointing out that not all pink stuff is the same. Contrary to what people think, aftermarket fluids are not always better. They may be as good, but they're not better. The VW stuff is about twice as much as the Prestone ($15 vs. $7), but sinch you change it so seldom, I think it's worth it to be sure I'm getting the right stuff.

I had Bridgestone Potenza RE930's on my Audi Coupe GT (185-60-14). They were great. They cruised quietly and worked great in dry cornering. Also, at least the first winter I was driving circles around 4 wheel drive vehicles in snow. SUPER.
Pros: cruised quietly, great cornering

I like the Valvoline synthetic. I've tried Amsoil. It was ok, but not any better than Valvoline. BTW, Valvoline meets more specifications than Mobil 1, so I'd stick with Valvoline.
Pros: meets more specifications
Cons: Amsoil not better

Audi TT
