I went with the Sachs SRE Clutch kit with Sachs DMF. The clutch kit is claimed to hold 400ft/lbs of tq. It added a little stiffness over the stock clutch which is exactly what I wanted and it holds stage 2 power very well. The shifts are smooth like the stock clutch and there is no added noise with the DMF.

Bilstein B6 is for stock springs. The B8's were noticeably firmer than the B4 (sport, which was available for my Passat, due to the available sport package on the car).
Koni yellows, simply for adjustability. This can give you a option of making it a weekend cruiser.. Koni orange is basicly koni yellows set on soft settings, IMO best for daily because of price point and comfort.
If you get a mk7, get the lighting and performance pack. The headlight performance is astonishing. The performance pack brakes are amazing not to mention how sweet the diff is on a back road.
EBC pads come with special brake-in layer to deglaze rotors. And this is what they recommend (came with pads): I have them on my Tig. Excellent low dust, high performance pads.
OK lets stir it up. I have a 2017 R and like many of you the dust on the front brakes was awful. So I decided to get EBC REDS. Great pad very low dust (still some) but bedding them in probably like most was a puss on reak in.
Have Haka R2's on my TDI and they are hands down the best winter tires I've driven, noticeably better than Michelin X-Ice XI3's on my wife's Golf7.
I just use German made Castrol Edge 0w40 (502 certified) oil. Ive used this oil since the car had its first oil change and it does not burn a drop and car runs great, i now have 59k miles and shes drives new as ever.
I suggest you read reviews of a guy that went with TT RS brakes on his car. It's got what IMO are some bad side effects... I think they're complete over kill for our car.
After a week with the DWS, I've decided to replace them with the OEM version of Pirelli all seasons. The DWS on my car aren't "loud", but the noise they do give off (high pitched whine) drives me nuts at highway speed.
