Reviews of Fram parts For Business

I have nearly 25 years of working on my own vehicles and doing my own oil changes.
I use Supertech Fully Synthetic (High Mileage) along with FRAM Synthetic 10,000 mile filters.
Never had an issue, ever. No sludge, zero issues. I’m perplexed at the filter cry boys on this thread. As if there’s not hundreds of filter test videos on YouTube showing comparisons and oil testing results.
Yeah, I've been sticking with Fram Ultra for those longer intervals too. Haven't seen any drop in quality myself, the construction still looks solid when I cut them open, especially for the price point.
I used the ultra synthetic on my Chevy 5.3 for 150,000 kms and had no issues.
I just cut one of my Fram Ultra open from my latest shipment a few days ago and it’s still the same high-quality build. Nevertheless, the product itself is still the top choice for my shop.
It won't hurt your engine to use Fram. Especially if you change your oil frequently enough and use good quality oil.
That said, there are better built and better filtering options available at similar or slightly higher prices.
Only the orange FRAM filters really suck (or at least are the ones that HAD issues in the past). Their mid-tier and premium filters are really good. I personally use their Synthetic Endurance line on all the vehicles I do changes on
It sounds like Jiffy Lube still likes to price gouge.
I have not been to a Jiffy Lube in years. Not since a basic oil change was closer to $20 if you caught them during a slow time and they were holding up their discount sign.
My invoice had the oil filter charge plus another $5 \"specialty filter\" charge.
I’d personally stay away from that orange brand. I’ve had multiple issues with oil pressure with those brand filters
Fran filters are the worst.
