I like Zimmerman rotors with Hawk HPS pads.

For daily driving, EBC Redstuff are perfectly capable and inexpensive.

In my case the leaking was from the plastic water pump housing which is a common fault for this engine. I replaced the plastic water pump with GRAF PA1359, which is metal housing instead of the OEM plastic one.

No one ever talks about this but the truth is the oil itself will always way outlast the oil filter. What you should be worried about is the paper filter, not the oil! Can your paper oil filter withstand 10k miles in between changes before slowly disintegrating into the oil? If you use a high quality OEM filter then the answer is yes. I use the original Mahle brand filters for my Audi.

5k or less with Liquimoly. Just had oil pan and upper timing cover replaced at 123k miles (plastic parts leak/ fail bc of heat cycles) and my timing chain looked like new, and not one spec of metal or debris on the bottom end. Unitronic stage 1+ since 75k miles.

I have a damaged windscreen threaded driveshaft - driver's side. I read that it simply pulls out, and I've also read that I must remove the entire windscreen to remove the threaded driveshaft from the motor.
