Brembo Brake caliper

Yeah I dropped to 19s on mine and it's night and day difference for daily driving. Went with 19x8.5 ET45 and 255/50R19 tires - plenty of clearance over the Brembos and the ride is way more civilized. Still looks good too, the 21s were just brutal on city streets

Pros: ride is way more civilized
Cons: 21s were just brutal

POWER STOP Brake caliper

I got the powerstop remanufactured brembo 4pot/2pot for a 2008-2017 STI on my 2018 WRX I found online for less than $800 with pads, calipers (red powder coated) and drilled and slotted rotors.

Pros: less than $800

Okay actually got some stuff done this weekend. Got the new rear spindles, refurbished backing plates, rotors, metal lines and soft lines, re conditioned original calipers…sure I’ll be revisiting these lol.

OEM Honda Brake caliper

Normally I still buy Honda parts and fluids with normally yearly servicing. in the last 14 years only expense has been both rear calipers needing changing due to seizing.

Pros: Honda parts, reliable
Cons: rear calipers seizing

Rating 3.0

I’ve had a 2016 Touring 6-6 since new and overall it’s been pretty solid. I’ve had two brake calipers seize and parking brake seized as well. Otherwise no issues mechanically other than regular maintenance. 76,000km

Pros: solid mechanically
Cons: brake calipers seized
Vehicle: Honda Accord
Mileage: 76000 km

Nismo Brake caliper

Crazy price for used calipers when the Nismo kit is almost a grand less, same quality, similar pad availability and a bracket that locates it in a better spot.

Pros: same quality, similar availability
Cons: crazy price, used calipers
