Absolutely nothing wrong with Pagid, I've run the discs on loads of different cars including on track and the basic compound pads are fine for the road. They're basically my go-to for most cars.

I went with pagid 2 piece rotors and akebono ceramic pads. They feel better than stock for sure with much less dust.
I ended up doing Pagid rotors on my 540i with Dynamic Friction DFC5000 Euro pads. I’ve put some hard stops through them from high speeds and am very happy with their lack of noise and dust.
I just did mine all around because the rotors looked like this. I put in Hella pagid rotors and pads.
