I run 225/40/18 Michelin XIce3 in my 2018R. I bought OEM 18inch Audi BBS CH wheels from a B7 S4 which fit perfectly.

I run 18” on my ‘24. Pirelli Sottozero 3 on Pretoria wheels. We have Continental VikingContact on our ‘24 Alltrack. Both great set of winter wheels for Canadian winters.
I had 225/40 R18 on mine last Winter and had no issues with it. Tires were Conti's WinterContact TS870. I was very happy with those tires. We got some pretty sewere snow last year and my R pushed through like nothing.
I run 225/40 R18 Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 P
Mk6 2.5L A/T. They just work. Brakes last forever, no engine or transmission issues, none of the weird mk4 body problems with windows or wipers, just great cars.
I mean, my 68 bug was drove everyday for 10 years, parked for 20 then put in a new carb and is driving like a champ.
Liquimoly 4210 0w-30 or pennzoil platinum euro lx 0w-30 are the two best imo. I have heard from some other mk8 owners that Pennzoil drops engine temps by 8-20 degrees F so thats what goes in mine.
I spin PS4s at WOT in 3rd gear at 60mph. Worse when it’s colder outside.
My 2021 ID.4 first edition came with Alenza tires.
They were bad in the snow (got snow tires) and I went through them in <20k miles. Not impressed at all.
Being a technician I really dislike them multiple have come in needing a new head gasket by 20k the rear brakes possibly due to VW changing their brake pad material will be almost at the backing plate by 15k
