Nokia Tires

I drove it last weekend in a Prius with three-peak mountain snowflake all weather tires (Nokian WRG-5). Like other all-weather tires, they're good in anything down to about -15°C and start to get skittish below that as the rubber hardens.

Pros: good in anything down to -15°C
Cons: get skittish below -15°C
Part number: WRG-5

OEM Toyota Alternator
Mantic0282
  • Warning light:
Rating 5.0

I\u2019m 43 and only have had 3 cars in my life only Corollas and Camry. I get a new one around 250k miles. They are great reliable cars that run well with basic maintenance. Only wear and tear items have I ever replaced with the exception of an alternateer on one of my corollas at around 200k miles. As long as I can keep going to 250k I will keep buying them.

Pros: great reliable cars
Vehicle: Toyota Corolla
Mileage: 402336 km

MICHELIN Tires

I put a set on my Avalon. I thought they were great. Definitely dinged my gas mileage. They plowed thru standing water with ease. The wheel didn’t jerk and the car stayed true. Good in snow as well.

Pros: plowed thru standing water
Cons: dinged gas mileage
Vehicle: Toyota Avalon

OEM Toyota Strut assembly
Ombank
  • Bounce:
Rating 3.0

How does it ride? Is it a little rough? And by that I mean is it bumpy? If yes then you’ll need to do some struts and shock maintenance.

Cons: rough, bumpy ride
Vehicle: Toyota Avalon

Toyo Tires

If your ’25 RAV4 XLE Premium came with Toyo A39s, I’d honestly switch them sooner rather than later the hydroplaning complaints are real, especially once they wear in

Pros: better wet-weather grip
Cons: hydroplaning complaints
Vehicle: Toyota

Starline Thermostat
dimon1612
  • Slow warm-up:
Rating 1.0

both thermostats were Starline from EuroCarParts in the UK. Last year the car started occasionally dropping temperature when travelling on motorway. It then eventually stopped getting to operating temperature... I replaced the thermostat... it started behaving same as the old thermostat. ...I replaced it and within a week it failed again. Every day it was taking longer to warm up.

Cons: failed within a week, not holding temperature
Vehicle: Toyota Celica
