Hawk Performance Brake pads

After researching, I'm going to go for the Hawk HPS 5.0 next time I go to the track or wear my current ones down. From what I've read, it's a comparable to the oem feel, but produces less dust, which sounds really nice for my occasional trip to the track and for keeping my wheels clean.

Pros: less dust, oem feel

The ZF is an amazing automatic one of the best in the industry but it’s to smooth its boring imo. The AT is still a blast I just wanted a more engaging raw experience that’s really all. I do miss the comfort sometimes and god damn the gas mileage ????

Pros: amazing, one of best, still a blast, good comfort, good gas mileage
Cons: too smooth, boring

The gearbox is amazing when pushing.

At a crawl and slower paces, it can be slightly jumpy and "kangarooish" as I've heard some people describe the BMW gearbox (ZF)

Besides that, it's spectacular

Pros: amazing when pushing, spectacular
Cons: jumpy at slow paces, kangarooish
Vehicle: Toyota Supra

Ferodo Brake pads

Street driving on the 3.12 killed my AP rotors, so I got a set of DS2500 to swap between track and street. I used the 2500s on track and they wear out fast with the heat, but you can definitely occasionally track on them.

Pros: occasionally trackable
Cons: wear out fast

OEM Toyota Headlights

Rating 3.0

I drive an older car, 1998 toyota supra, low to the ground so my eyes are just about even with most of the SUVs running around my area. This is on me, I chose to drive this car. However, the change in the past 10 years has taken it from mildly annoying to downright blinding.

Cons: downright blinding, mildly annoying

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Rating 3.5

I was considering the blizzak6 which are available in my size for both front and rear but might be overkill for most of the rest of the winter and likely counterproductive, so figured all seasons might be for the best. Choice of all season tyres is very limited, especially for the rear size, pretty much down to All season contact 2s but there’s a lot of feedback online about how they don’t feel particularly responsive on the front when steering which has me a bit concerned, so was thinking maybe of going cross climate 3 sports on the front and all season contact 2 at the back.

Pros: sportier in dry, more rear grip
Cons: not responsive on front steering

Toyo Tires

The R888Rs are a terrible autocross tire, slower than the Super 200s and actually illegal for most street classes. If you are running in a class that allows R-comps, Hoosier A7s will be legal and are in another universe than the R888Rs in terms of grip.

Cons: terrible autocross tire
