Oil and filter runs about $100 for my S5. I do the change myself with a fluid extractor so it's pretty much hands off.

My A6 has 158k on it, had to do the timing chains at 150k, the car is in immaculate shape otherwise and it was too nice to junk.
Recently did the secondary air system cleaning, PCV, belts, hoses, water pump, thermostat, coils, and plugs. Both cats have broken at the exhaust flange, but I simply welded those back (dealer wanted $2300 for a new one).
going strong doing water pump and new oil pan right now. Tensioners were done as a precaution at 195k.
Water pump started leaking so replaced it, the thermostat, and the pcv. Oil changes 4k-5k. Love the car.
Replaced fuel pump because it threw a code. Drives like a dream.
I changed the battery in my 2011 A5 with no issues, but i connected a jump pack to the terminals before I disconnected them. It maintained power to the car -- took the old battery out and put the new one in. No issues. Went with a Champion battery -- 4 year replacement....
The 2.0 liter gas/petrol engine is the weak link here, due mainly to poor piston ring design. We are third owners of a '14 A4 6MT, purchased in mid '17 with 48K miles. We're at 98K miles now, and with 5K engine oil changes using Liqui Moly or Elf/Total fully synthetic, we use a small nominal amount of engine oil between changes.
I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with pirellis. Premature dry rot, delamination on new tires while driving, premature wear, etc. On top of that, I find them to be loud, ride poorly, grip poorly, are expensive, and wear down too fast even if you don’t run into common quality issues.
Bought it in October, had it exactly 1 week, and the water pump blew. The dealer replaced it for free
