Only thing I have had to fix on it was the water pump. It started leaking at 181k miles.

Mine went out at 270,00 on my 2002 Tahoe oem Delphi
The GM wet timing belt in the Trax is likely HNBR. GM learned from Ford's mistakes, engineering dexos oil to be compatible and provide cooling. The 1.2L engine has been in use 5 years with no widespread belt-related failures documented. GM's approach is holistic, treating oil as an active component, and they expect the belt to last 150,000 miles.
They see plenty of use in europe, another thing where maintenance is key. Haven't seen much as far as gm having issues. Don't think they'd be putting 15 year service intervals if they weren't confident they wouldn't be sued.
I ran nexen Sport R, they’re a tick off pace of the hot 200tw (RE71RS, CRSv2, A052) but they’re super consistent across a 30 minute lapping session and I was getting 5-6 days out of a set.
2020+ V6 have 10 speeds which are absolutely amazing.
I used NGK laser iridium to replace my probably original 256k mile acdelco plugs. Noticed exactly no difference in performance.
I've been running the Motul RBF 600 in my C7 for track and autocross. I flush once a year. It works fine.
My 2025 RS AWD has been having squealing brakes since 1,000 miles at low speed. It has 3,500 on it now and it's annoying.
Mine has done it from day one. Good job GM. I’m not fixing it. Let people hear what GM is selling to people.
