Tires (Winter) Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV (Mandatory for Quebec Dec 1 - Mar 15)
Chevrolet Tahoe parts reviews
I installed Raybestos Element 3 on my wife\u2019s 2015 LT along with new Element 3 rotors. Better stopping power than the stock pads but a little more brake dust. The increased performance is worth it to me.
I installed Brembo rotors on my 2016 and all 4 tires and have been happy with the improvement I have noticed.
Mine went out at 270,00 on my 2002 Tahoe oem Delphi
Bilsteins are hands down the best. Well worth the cost.
I have had 2 sets of them in 5 years on an 05 tahoe. First set has lasted me roughly 48k and the most recent pair are still on the tahoe with abiut 20k on them (Tahoe is sitting, I now drive a 2016 Colorado) The tires are made local to me in South Carolina. For the price I cant beat it. I have nothing but good experience with the Dextero AT
The Delphi in my wife's tahoe is still kicking ass 5 years later.
I used NGK laser iridium to replace my probably original 256k mile acdelco plugs. Noticed exactly no difference in performance.
I noted a drop off in quality in some of OEM AC/Delco parts (purchased from the dealer) that were made in China vs. their older counterparts made in Mexico. These were upper strut mounts for my Tahoe - the Mexican made ones were absolutely quiet during winter in Canada, whereas the Chinese ones would make all sorts of noises in winter but were fine during summer.
The shop changed the discs and pads. Brakes seemed totally unchanged and the issue occurred again almost immediately. Someone suggested they didn\u2019t flush the lines properly. Worked as expected 90% of the time, but had several instances where they seemed like I pushed the pedal all the way through with little reaction.
