General G-Max RS or Firestone Indy 500s are solid options aswell with good grip and way friendlier pricing. I ran Indy 500s on my old Camaro and they felt great in normal driving without being loud or sketchy in the rain.

Red Line.
I’ve always preferred Castrol gold.
5-30 mobile one. Thats the only brand of oil I let touch my cars.
AcDelco filters and Mobil 1 filters are always good options to pick from. Don't get the 4 dollar Fram, please.
GM recommended 5-30 pre 2019. Post 19 they changed to 0-40. Reason is emissions. Do a Google search and you'll see there is alot of skuttlebutt out there about using thinner weight oils and the lack of protection.
Change your thermostat and you’ll be fine. I’d recommend a AC Delco if you can get one easily local.
I'm running the F1 Supercar 3 (not the R). If you're like me and just trying to have a little fun going around the turns, unconcerned about being passed by Miatas, go with the 3's.
Supercar 3Rs were designed to go with the ZLE, when I drove them I would get onto the track at 29psi. A lap and a half ish I would hit 30psi and that’s when it was go time. After 36psi they’ll start to fall off but that was generally about the time a 20 minute session ended.
I did a heater core once. Just once.... 87 Z28. NEVER AGAIN! lol Call a pro. It is not a difficult job, but if you even get access to the core without removing the dash, it is super hard tight under there. I would however poke around and see where it is.
