Best Tires for Chevrolet Tahoe

I have had 2 sets of them in 5 years on an 05 tahoe. First set has lasted me roughly 48k and the most recent pair are still on the tahoe with abiut 20k on them (Tahoe is sitting, I now drive a 2016 Colorado) The tires are made local to me in South Carolina. I use Nexen Roadian RA8 tires on my Tahoe and love them. $130 a piece for 265/75r16. I get a lot of snow where I live and they haven't let me down.

I have these tires on my 01 Tahoe and they are a beast. Love em, especially in the snow in Michigan's upper peninsula. I take care of a camp about a third of a mile in on unpaved road and these things run me in there with snow bumper high like it ain't no thing. Muddy in the spring, same deal. Comfy on pavement, not a bad thing to say about them.

have the same setup on my Tahoe, except my rims are 22x9.5. Not bad honestly, really no complaints. The mpg is terrible. I always think I'm speeding but I'm just not, kind of a slow ride, but I enjoy driving and listening to music. It still had get-up at high rpms. I got the v8 tho so might make a difference. I got falken tires made in Thailand on my tahoe and some tires mad in Czech Republic on my mini cooper.

I have put on general grabber hts tires on my 09 tahoe. Has anyone had a problem with excessive noise and or even a slight whine when cold and going down the road? Drive for 30 minutes and the whine goes mostly away but not 100%.
