Toyo Tires

I got a set for my Duramax about 7 years ago and it is hard to tell they aren't brand new. I liked them so much I got a second identical set for the same truck... with studs for winter driving. They have decent but not massively aggressive tread for mild offroad adventures and they ride considerably smoother and quieter than the off brand (Les Schwab) tires they replaced. They aren't cheap unless you figure the cost per mile then they are an incredibly great deal! They also have a better weight rating than most non-commercial tires.

Pros: long lasting, smooth ride, quiet, good for offroad, good weight rating

Been running the Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires since. Close to 100k in 2 sets. Been great tires, mostly highway miles and used the 4x4 on a hunting trip, rain and some mud and handled great. Love the tires.

Pros: great tires, handled great
Mileage: 160934 km

I've been running Coopers for almost 30 years, currently have them on my Silverado and getting ready to put another set on my Tahoe.

I can usually get 50k out of a set.

The ride is nice.

The price is right.

Pros: nice ride, price right
Mileage: 50000 km

OEM Chevrolet Tires

This is neat, but ultimately, its kind of a functional sculpture. Like all of the ultra-hyper cars, it's so high strung that it needs a team to just pull out of the garage without causing an accident, and the manufactures full and constant support is needed to keep it running. It has fully custom tires that are only single source, and they're only going to build a handful of them so they can say its production.

Cons: needs constant support

I ran an F Toyo MT in the same size on a '17 Duramax SRW. My camper is MUCH heavier than your popup so my tire life was in the 30k km range. I wouldnt say the Toyos held up much better than the tires that are 1/3rs the price, but they are a durable and refined product. Ive burned through a half dozen sets of Toyo MT and never had an issue with them.

Pros: durable, refined product, no issues
Cons: not better than cheaper tires
Mileage: 30000 km

Have Toyo at3 on my 2024 3500 Silverado srw. Previously had Goodyear duratracs. The only upside to these at3 is the quietness of them. They are worse than the Goodyears in every other category. I’m in Saskatchewan Canada… combination of highway pavement miles, gravel road driving. Found them to be the least favourite tire I have ever ran in the winter. They currently have 37000km / 23000M and I’d guess they are at 25% tread left. Won’t be getting another set.

Pros: quietness of them
Cons: worse than goodyears, winter
Mileage: 37000 km

I bought coopers about 3 years ago for my Silverado 1500. I will be honest this isn't an apples to apples comparison, I bought 4 ply (first mistake) AT3 4s's. They are cracking between the tread blocks on all 4 tires. Cooper won't warranty them saying it's just cosmetic, but they are deep cracks that go all the way around the tires between tread blocks on the inside and outside. I don't use chemicals or tire shine, and they are always kept at the appropriate pressures. They also lose chunks of tread every time i take them on the gravel roads in the mountains. I'm not happy with them at all, so my recommendation is to go with the K03's.

Cons: cracking between tread blocks
