You normally would never need to resurface the rear rotors on this car, we only resurface the front unless there's something really abnormal.
During my last service, I mentioned there was possible rocks or something rubbing in between the pads + rotors on one of the corners. They diagnosed and machining the rotors fixed it.
You are being taken for a ride. 7 mm is the run out for Honda/Acura. I own a 2001 accord, and a 2004 crv, and have never had to replace the rotors, or calipers.
I used Textar discs and pads all round last time I did brakes and no complaints here. All good and would recommend.
honda or toyota. civic, accord, camry, corolla, avalon.
parts and service are cheap. not much goes wrong. i had a 08 civic lx from 50k miles to 150k miles. only thing i had done were brake discs and ac replacement.
At 180k I had a whole brake system overhaul, replaced all rotors and pads with new brake fluid. Textar parts all around.
Be careful with the Textar rotors. They're made in China, I had used them for years when they released but the warranty frequency rate was over double what I had with Zimmermann. Switched back and the come backs dropped back to normal. Made in Germany ftw.
Never had any issues except warped rotors on one
as of now it's still got the OEM ones on the rear (and I failed to notice that they'd begun to warp due to already having swapped the front brakes back in August).
