I personally use full synthetic Mobile 1 usually.

Worry less about the now old 502.00 spec than the actual oil itself. It's API SN/CF and has MB-Approval 226.5/ 229.31/ 229.51. Even though 505.00 and 505.01 are diesel engine specs, it should be fine in your older car. One of my go-to oils is Shell Rotella T6, which is specifically for diesels, but it's a great oil.

I use Motul oil on all motorcycles because even though its more expensive, its still not that expensive.

That's what the dealer and I use. Castrol 5W40

Its honestly all good, I ran Rotella T4 for a while, still good.

A few years ago Castrol decided to dye all their Magnatec oils green... it was pretty dark green as well.

Liqui Moly has some green stuff I put in my euro cars. It's pretty cool for finding leaks.

I used to use German Castrol 0w20 in my Volvo and it was green too.

I use Mazda Moly 0w-20 in our 2014 Skyactiv CX-5.

I’m using 5w40 too. It was recommended at the service. I’ve got a 2012 Volvo S60 D3 with really lot of kms????. It’s better for the older engines, it gives a smoother run for them.
