POWER STOP Brake discs

I have the Powerstop Z23 all the way around. We had a problem with the OEM rear rotors warping on our 2014, after installing the slotted Rotors we have not had any issues.

Pros: no warping issues, good performance
Cons: OEM rotors warped

Looking at my model 3 vs my Kia Niro I would say it would be a dream having less than more to work on. There's some stuff that remains the same suspension, brakes, rotors, ac/heat (there are heat pumps)

Pros: easy enough maintenance items

I have power stop rotors and raybestos element 3 brake pads and it’s a noticeable improvement over the oem pads. I feel much more confident driving and stopping with the new rotors and pads.

Pros: noticeable improvement, confident stopping

Just bought the Centric 125 plain high carbon rotors for front and rear with the Hawk HPS 5.0 front pads and Hawk Ceramic rear pads. Highly recommend this setup. Noticeable improvement for street driving only, I just cruise fast sometimes, no track time.

Pros: noticeable improvement

EBC Brake discs

I personally went with some EBC rotors and pads. Front and back with new brake lines cost me about 1k but I\u2019m tuned and plan on making the car even faster.

Pros: great brake products

At ~4,000 miles, I bought a set of StopTech (front) drilled+slotted rotors (non-PP) for my GTI and kept my OEM brake pads. Everything was fine up until recently (~2,000 miles later). I now hear a high pitch "squealing" noise at very low speeds. This happens right when I'm about to come to a complete stop (1-3 mph).

Cons: high pitch squealing noise
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 4000 km

FWIW - I purchased a complete set of PowerStop Slotted and Cross-Drilled rotors and included pads for my 14 TDI SE along with ECS Stainless brake lines. I also flushed the fluid. No noticeable difference at all. And one disappointment that really bothered me was during an event it felt like the rotors were warping very early on and I was afraid I was going to ruin them for the rest of the event. However, the pulsing settled down as I learned to go easier on them.

Cons: rotors warping very early
