I overbuilt my car. If I did it again, I’d start with clipz front hubs, 325x26 e46m3 rotors, e38 brembos.
brembo, zimmermann and ebc would be my choices. Do not get drilled rotors. Holes are weak spots and crack easily.
I purchased the LS400 brake calipers brand new from the Lexus dealership. I used brand new aftermarket Brembo brand OEM spec brake rotors as well. When I picked the car up from them with the LS400 brakes installed, the front brakes squealed badly immediately.
I have them on my Mazda 2....it goes and stops as you'd expect.
I switched to brembo xtra dics and pads and im very happy with them.
About a year ago I looked up on a lot of forums and decided to order the original blank face rotors from brembo and EBC red stuff pads front & back. Was about $600 to 700 with the brakes pads being the most money.
