Very good Rotors. Caution about pad usage thou. These rotors Eat pad alive( and make a raspy noise whne your braking).

Good rotors but rust FAST. Clearcoat or paing the sides/insides if you want them to stay pretty, but the faces will obviously not rust if your driving with them.
I have a Golf 2.0 GL replaced front brakes with ATE rotors and Mintex Reds this time last year.
Hey guys new flash, "rust free coating" wairs of your rotors veeeeeery fast, it might last a month. MIGHT think about it. ive had all three on various cars. right now i have zimmermans on my Corrado, and am very vappy with there performance. about the same as slotted
I have ATE powerdiscs on front and Zimmerman Xdrilled on rear. They both rust. I haven't had any problems yet with warping on either but I installed them about 2-3 monthes ago. I've heard that the Xdrilled can begin cracking around the holes so I'm watching out for this. So far I'm happy with the setup. I also have the mintex redbox pads. Slightly better than OEM and a whole lot less messy. My rims don't collect much dust anymore.
You can change to vented 9.4's; without changing the calipers! Just get vented rotors and the corresponding pads. The rotors are no different. Adirondack does a Mintex Red Box pads/ATE PowerDisc package - 2 rotors & a set of pads, $84.00.
No, sorry. Not compared to the A4 but the pre face lifted models. I noticed that they have started to use better pads up front as the brake dust is not as much as the older models.
I like my Zimmermans (cross-drilled) but also liked the ATE slotted rotors I've used before.
I switched over to Zimmerman x-drilled, SS lines, Mintex Red Boxes and bled the system with DOT 4 fluid. The same corse I never noticed any fade but I also did not notice any BETTER braking performance either.
I have seen the Blaster coils burn Bosch rotors down to a stump. I don't know if something might have been wrong with the system--timing, wrong plug, etc. But it happened.
