Rating 5.0

Ran 400 wheel horsepower on the OEM chain in my 16. Just did routine oil changes and shoved a fuckload of air into the motor but the chain took it with no issues. Until, of course, the motor exploded at 95k lol

Pros: handled high horsepower, no issues
Vehicle: Volkswagen Jetta
Mileage: 152887 km

Goodyear Tires

Earlier this year, I picked up some Goodyear Reliant All Seasons for my MK4 (2002) Jetta GLS and I’ve been VERY pleased with them for daily driver tires. They have an “H” speed rating, stick pretty well in the turns, and Walmart had them for a shockingly low $67 a piece! Best part? Made in USA!!

Pros: stick well in turns

BRIDGESTONE Tires

These made in the USA Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus Grand Touring All-Season tires rated for 70,000 miles... The Ecopia EP422 Plus is one of Bridgestone's Grand Touring All-Season tires developed for the drivers of coupes, sedans, minivans and small crossover vehicles looking for more tire life per gallon by delivering longer wear and better handling. Designed to enhance vehicle fuel economy by reducing tire rolling resistance along with the vehicle's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, Ecopia EP422 Plus tires deliver year-round, all-season traction, even in light snow.

Pros: longer wear, better handling
Cons: rated for 70,000 miles
Mileage: 6700 km

Garrett Turbocharger

You might of seen my thread about my blown turbo. I'm almost certain my Garrett GT28RS Turbocharger is blown and looking into possible replacements. This is the specs on this one. It flows nice and was really good for my current setup.

Pros: flows nice, good setup

OEM Volkswagen Engine radiator

The radiator on my 2016 is leaking, although leak isn't really the right word. Maybe porous. The hole is so small, it takes months to show a change in the coolant reservoir. On some days, given proper conditions, a small wisp of steam is visible coming from the radiator area. I added a UV dye to the cooling system, and it is visible then.

Pros: UV dye makes visible
Cons: small hole, porous
