In our shop, my dad favors a high torque auto stick Bosch reman starter but I’m at home and can’t remember the exact part number. We use it on many standard and super beetles, ghias as well. It’s great for varying terrain.
Brain1234 Good advice, My master fluid kept going down, Could not find a leak. Eventually I stopped adding worrying where it would go, and funny enough despite running low on brake fluid the brakes get ok..... Until figured out the booster was 1/2 full of Brake fluid....
I’ve run all three brands on my GTI and I drive my car hard Was using Bridgestone RE01 tires on the track last
I use the 0w40 Mobil 1 European Formula. It\u2019s great and it\u2019s cheap and you can find it literally anywhere. I get mine for $22 for 5qt from Walmart.
I just got mine replaced like two weeks ago and no problems since then. Mine was bad from the very beginning literally l noticed it few days after I purchased my brand new 2019 Atlas.
I use Mahle filters in both my VR6 and 2.5 from first oil change. No issues.
Yes, that will work. I did Pentofrost G13 equivalent for my top-up coolant.
My Golf R's brakes look like this as well. I have 10K + miles on them but they have been like this since 2-3K miles. I'll say it's "normal". Even though i haven't experienced it with other cars that i can recall.
I just turned 500 miles on the Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS that came on my SE. While they are far from the worst tire, I can't help but feel that it's a terrible match for the GTI. Even with the traction control, it's struggling to get any kind of grip off the line, and I'm talking like quarter throttle. On a brighter note, they don't squeal much around turns and are relatively quiet.
