Lots of options for just rotors/pads Powerstop Z23 - PowerStop Evolution Brake Upgrade for Daily Drivers | Quiet and Clean
The ko4 I have is borg warner.
I run EBC yellows year round with no issues or noise on street and track. I would recommend them, switching to stainless lines and chaining to RBF600 brake fluid.
An upgraded intercooler solves this for the most part.
I've been running the 2.0t/r8 coil packs for a few years now and haven't had issues with them.
I placed an order for a toolset, oil, oil filter, drain plug, and filter wrench.
I need to change my brake pads and rotors soon. I'm using ECStuning, because it's the best place that I know of. I'm looking for OEM, don't need anything fancy shmancy. What are the differences between https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/economy-brake-pad-set-front/jzw698151/ and https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/front-brake-pad-set/5c0698151/ ? The 2nd one says without pad wear sensor, do I even need that? First one barely has a description, I don't even know which I should grab. Secondly, does my 2013 VW Jetta S 2.0 have rotors or drums in the back? I think I have rotors in the front? If rotors, what size do I even need because ECS is telling me I need 280x22, but deutsch auto is telling me a different pattern.
I've gone through two VW batteries in 32K miles under three years. They suck. Just replaced it with a Duralast Gold from Autozone which has a 3 year full replacement warranty and 5 year prorated.
I had tried Redline MT90 to get rid of the intermittent grind into 2nd, but it made all shifting more difficult and always grind into 2nd. So I went back to OEM.
