OEM Toyota Clutch disc

Other than the throwout bearing getting OEM stuff is on par pricewise with most aftermarkets. Considering OEM discs frequently hit the quarter million mile mark, thats what I put back in my third gen.

Pros: OEM discs hit quarter million
Cons: throwout bearing
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 402336 km

OEM Toyota Shock absorbers

Rating 4.0

My mother drove her 2010 Corolla for 11 years and 320,000 km with no breakdowns and only (frankly spotty and frequently late) basic maintenance before passing it off to my brother, who still drives it every day it with 350k kms (edit: 220k miles). The shocks probably need replacement at some point in the nearer term but those are wear items and the car spent most of its life on terrible Saskatchewan roads, so I can’t really blame it for that.

Pros: no breakdowns, basic maintenance
Cons: shocks need replacement
Mileage: 320000 km

Rating 3.5

I got 67,000 miles on 70,000 mile warranty Yokohama GTs. Originals to my then new 21 Corolla. I balanced, rotated, and aligned on a religious schedule. Happy with the wear, less so with late wear hydroplaning.

Pros: happy with the wear
Cons: late wear hydroplaning
Mileage: 67000 km

OEM Toyota Headlights

My humble Toyota Sienna minivan if there's so much as an extra sock (or child) in the back. People flash us all the time and I'm like damn, we're those people now. Fn hate it, might need to get some silver tape to mask the top of the beams.

Cons: blinding to others
Vehicle: Toyota Sienna
