Had to do a transmission on it (as they're a POS u140e)
I have a 2025 automatic transmission and shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear also feels quite rough sometimes, especially when the transmission is cold. I’ve looked into it and it seems to be a common issue for the 4th gen and has been deemed a characteristic of the drivetrain.
The auto transmission in the 3rd gen has some odd tuning from the factory
A consistent 3rd gen complaint is the automatic which hunts for gears.
I used to own a 23 v6. Loved the power of the v6, but transmission was jerky. Wouldn't recommend.
My 8th gen ICE Camry’s transmission failed at 84k miles.
