I did see something recently where an aftermarket alternator made by Valeo had the same part number as the Original Toyota part, but in fact had another software part number that made it through an error and not work properly.

I’ve had two D/L Alternators. Each has lasted 3 or 4 years.

OEM isn’t worth the cost

I feel Powerstop is more hype than “real”. Made in China.
