Mann Oil filter

Also, going for a Mann oil filter (W67/1). Does anyone recommend not using it, I know from experience Mann oil filters are extremely high quality, usually better than OE, but I’ve found no specific feedback for the 370z

Pros: extremely high quality
Vehicle: Nissan
Part number: W67/1

YOKOHAMA Tires

Had one of those Pathfinders. Thirsty, but it'll go until you're bored. Massive ground clearance, and handles super well for some reason. Had Yokohama Geolandar ATs on it and it could do anything in any conditions.

Pros: massive ground clearance, handles well
Cons: thirsty

OEM Nissan Steering rack

That's your steering rack. Do not ignore it, ignoring it will only lead to a much more expensive repair and tow bill.

Pros: avoid expensive repair
Cons: expensive repair, tow bill
Vehicle: Nissan

Cooper Tires
GoTtHeLuMbAgO
  • Grip:
  • Noise:
Rating 2.5

I have a set of Cooper ATS already on my 2019, They're alright, They're decent in the snow but I don't really need them. They're just loud and eat gas And sling, salt and mud all over the truck, i don't really do a lot of off-roading. I just mainly bought them to make the truck look good.

Pros: decent in snow, look good
Cons: loud, eat gas, sling mud
Vehicle: Nissan

Hankook Tires

The OEM Hankooks (on my 24') go full slip and slide mode if there's a drop of water on the road anywhere within 3 miles.

I can turn the "heavy steering" wheel with two pinched fingers and just my wrist when driving. It's not a big deal.

Diff breather mod.

Check the rain channels on the roof for cracking paint. Dealer should fix that as it's considered a workmanship warranty, else you can apply clear coat to the spots yourself to seal them when it inevitably cracks again.

If a leaf ever gets under the moulding/gasket around the windshield it can and will sound like your front speakers are crackling and dying when driving past 60 MPH and make your blood pressure go up trying to figure out what the hell is making that noise.

Pros: steering wheel light
Cons: poor wet traction, cracking paint, windshield gasket noise
Vehicle: Nissan

OEM Nissan CVT transmission

Nissan in the US keeps selling crap year after year and people buy them. Those CVT's go kaboom without a doubt sooner or later. Here where I am located (Western Europe), Nissan was smart and they sell reliable cars using Renault drivetrains. They sell well.

Cons: unreliable, fail often
Vehicle: Nissan Altima

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Just before the weekend one of my summer tires punctured. Replaced all four wheels with winter tires, but a closer look at these *two year old tires* has me wondering: How come these Bridgestones are already so worn down?

Cons: worn down quickly
Vehicle: Nissan Leaf
Mileage: 35000 km
