In der Fahrschule wurde mir damals beigebracht sich bei blendenden Autos auf den rechten Fahrbahnrand zu orientieren, nicht reinzustarren.

Can confirm replaced 1 headlight, front bumper and fenders - of course all aftermarket through insurance. IIRC the claim was $4300.

Pros: aftermarket parts available

Cons: expensive insurance claim

Just did the almost the same thing on my A6, Mint used headlight off ebay was $1000 bucks, being in the winter my headlights modules started going out so i bought 3 working ones for $300 off ebay

Pros: mint used headlight

Cons: headlight modules going out

I can buy an entire second hand car for the cost of an audi matrix headlight. I can see fine out of my classic headlight (€229 for complete brand new saab 900 headlight at r&d carparts). It is real glass so it never fades and a fresh bulb is litterally a couple cents.

Pros: real glass, never fades

Cons: unnecessarily expensive

The DRL on my passenger headlight partially died (one of the vertical strips on the outside of the lamp stopped working) about a month ago. Took it to the dealer and they had a new headlight installed within the week under bumper to bumper.

Pros: headlight installed under warranty

Cons: DRL partially died

We had the same issue on my wifes 22 explorer limited.

Dealership had it for a full day and traced the issue to a bad ground causing a power draw in one of the headlights and it was replaced under warranty.

Pros: headlight replaced under warranty

Cons: bad ground, power draw

At a previous job I had a new company F150, and while the night view was great it seemed to piss everyone else off. Nothing I could do about it, they were set correctly. Stock height is just too high.

Pros: great night view

Cons: blinds other drivers

I'm pretty sure the headlights on our RV are from an F-150. They are the worst e-bay specials and truly are terrible to drive at night.
