My 15 brz had a dial under the left side of the steering wheel.

Not sure about the Forester, but common issue on Outbacks. You can't adjust the brightness, but you can adjust the angle. You need a long shank Phillips screwdriver and you can angle the lights down a bit

Pros: adjust the angle

In der Fahrschule wurde mir damals beigebracht sich bei blendenden Autos auf den rechten Fahrbahnrand zu orientieren, nicht reinzustarren.

Can confirm replaced 1 headlight, front bumper and fenders - of course all aftermarket through insurance. IIRC the claim was $4300.

Pros: aftermarket parts available

Cons: expensive insurance claim

Just did the almost the same thing on my A6, Mint used headlight off ebay was $1000 bucks, being in the winter my headlights modules started going out so i bought 3 working ones for $300 off ebay

Pros: mint used headlight

Cons: headlight modules going out

Man, I drive a Subaru. My apologies. You are getting the regular headlights, not hi beams. They’re just very bright. Sorry. ;(

i drive a 13 outback and the headlights are fucking PITIFUL. i drive with my brights on at night and i have never once been flashed

Cons: pitiful performance

I came to reddit to make sure I wasn't crazy. 2025 Impreza. I just got it and had it out at night for the first time last night. Same exact issues. Very odd cutout on the road in front of me. Very distracting.

I decided to Google the 2025, Subaru. Crosstrek headlights, because mine have these black circles that show up on low beams. It is so distracting and so annoying, and my low beams look so low, that straight ahead is not bright at all.

Cons: distracting, annoying
