I put a LUK clutch kit in and replaced all the seals and such not too long ago. Shifts fine, least for an 020 anyway.

Pros: shifts fine

My slave cylinder started leaking on my 13 2.0T r-spec, and the first shop I took it to quoted me $3500. Checked with the dealer, $4500. Second shop quoted me $2500, and the third and smallest shop quoted me $1500 and they got my business, hah. Feels great now, and they put in the basic Valeo kit you can find on rock auto.

Pros: Feels great now

Thats what I have in my NC, it has been great for my 2.5 swapped car. Clutch feel is very good, a little heavier than stock but not much. Flywheel is very livable too.

Pros: great performance, good clutch feel
Cons: a little heavier

If you are doing it yourself and would consider stock, you could go the route I went with my family's 2015 jetta TDI. Buy the OEM Sachs clutch kit and VW dual mass flywheel from FCP EURO and have a lifetime replacement warranty on all of the expensive wear items. I also installed the orifice delete. Clutch feel is great

Pros: great clutch feel, lifetime warranty
Vehicle: Volkswagen Jetta

Exedy Clutch kit

I used the Exedy OE clutch kit like many do. It turns out that Exedy only makes the clutch disc and pressure plate. The bearings are sourced from China, and I've found a few people that have had them fail very quickly (sometimes within weeks). I ended up ordering and using SKF bearings for both.

Pros: Exedy clutch disc and pressure plate
Cons: Exedy bearings fail quickly
Vehicle: Mazda

Sachs Clutch kit

I installed a 210mm clutch kit in my car and (I think) it doesn't work: I saw Black Forest Industries only sells the 210mm clutch for MkI's as an upgrade so I went on Rockauto and bought a Sachs 210mm clutch kit for an 84 1.8L Rabbit and a flywheel on Ebay

Cons: doesn't work
Vehicle: Volkswagen
