Sachs 764 Pressure Plate & Sachs 098 Friction Disc paired with a DMFW is what is colloquially referred to as the Sachs 2.5 "kit". ( it's not an actual "kit" but it's a time honored upgrade for 550+ hp Porsche 996 TT.
I've run stock Sachs also with an unsprung GT2 disc. But my car at 550/575 whp likes this setup ^.
I'm on my 3rd clutch = 17+ years.
The Valeo kit is a good one. I believe they are an OEM supplier.
Can vouch for the Valeo Kit just installed mine last month.
I have the Valeo hd kit on my 3.8 and it’s nice.
Got a suggestion from one of the local service technicians, to go for SACHS brand clutch kit.
If your clutch has been slipping for a few months, it seems likely your flywheel may have some hot spots, and needs resurfaced at a minimum, in addition to a new clutch, pilot bushing, and throwout bearing.
I would recommend returning the FX250 clutch and getting the Valeo HD clutch kit. It wont rattle like the single mass aftermarket clutches, it holds more power than the stock clutch.
I got the Valeo kit for my 325i, feels great. A little chatter on idle but not noticable when driving.
Be aware that the "newer" Sachs kits have been a different manufacturer than FCC which makes the OEM clutch. Newer Sachs kit seems to be an exedy clutch and pressure plate.
The Valeo clutch kit is absolute garbage. It will make the car rattle and vibrate like crazy. Get a FX250 Kevlar clutch with a steel single mass flywheel from clutch masters. A lot less noise, lasts a lot longer.
