Luk Clutch kit

Last month, I replaced the clutch kit and DMF on my 1999 PD115 Passat with a LuK kit, and it was also slipping in 4th and 5th when I floored it (stock tune). After about a week of casual driving, it bedded in, and I had no problems since.

Pros: no problems after break-in
Cons: slipping initially
Vehicle: Volkswagen Passat

Sachs Clutch kit

176k, Porsche 944. Throwout bearing went before the rubber center did, honestly the clutch was still fine. New Sachs kit in it now. That transaxle clutch job is a doozy.

Pros: clutch still fine
Cons: throwout bearing went
Vehicle: Porsche
Mileage: 176000 km

Sachs clutch kit is the way to go. I've installed several in Z3's, and every one of them had a great feel. The kit comes with everything you'll need besides tools, although I'd replace the clutch fork pivot pin while in there.

Pros: great feel, complete kit
Vehicle: BMW Z3

I did the oem supra clutch swap. It switches the flywheel to a solid non turbo 92-95 generation and a spring clutch disc. I used a factory flywheel and an aisin kit from a Supra. It will rev much quicker and all the parts will cost half of the stock flywheel alone.

Pros: revs quicker, cost-effective

Sachs Clutch kit

Just stick to OEM. The OEM clutch is good for 500+ horsepower and you will be making no where near that. Its only $230 for the sachs clutch kit on FCP Euro

Pros: good for 500+ horsepower
Part number: K70206-01

I have the kit from darkside on my mk7 (organic plates, “HD DMF”), Malone stage 2. Have about 100k on it since install, no issues or slipping. Clutch pedal is definitely heavier than stock. If you get on it in low rpms, there is still some dmf shudder.

Pros: no issues, no slipping
Cons: heavier clutch pedal, DMF shudder
Mileage: 100000 km

I manual swapped the car myself and used a stock clutch fork, [this](https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1326451&cc=1134010&pt=1993&jsn=18&_nck=HllVxRCey1%2B2aVRDo41oQXhbegy63eH0ZQw4Qu2hbnVNrSa9QiFztXFB8fAiad4cNnjyg1Wh75cdlSCw6212A%2BF7sjOu10NFmttFaSg9TgmJ79BOXctBfgOsvzChLR%2FJb1t2NdrLb7j5Izi9VCWKZEoPuIDDobaM7Nivo%2FfSWA9mToJBXGAQcYvUFR0tXWI0vw63Op9RQQBMSocBR2FUeL%2BQPlhbXGbm4WTSnmuf%2BkU50Z9HUqkperMi8C8R6rldqwLO%2Fm5akTCRGFR%2B9gblQ3PsI4JdJiCZS%2FNe5MkyloNGyW1guyER%2F1sHrCMGt%2F8g) Valeo kit and [this](https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8116052&cc=1134010&pt=1972&jsn=13) cable. Right from the start it was very heavy and I just put up with it but I've recently been in another fox which had a much lighter pedal, inline with what i'm used to with cable clutches.

Cons: very heavy
Vehicle: Ford
