- Oil: Mobil 1 full synthetic extended mileage, 5W-30, both cars

- Brake: Motul 5.1 for the buick, Motul RBF600 for the vette

Upgraded brake lines. the stock lines are not up to the task of repeated hard braking temps. Your brake fluid should be something along the lines of Motul 600 or the like.

I've just bled the brakes with fresh Motul RPF600 race brake fluid

Over the winter i did a brake upgrade on my GLI. Didnt want to spend $5k plus on front/rear BBK kit so i did as much as i could with the stock braking system \"as is\". Phil from USP motorsports really helped me out big time. honestly having it for more than three months now and being a WELL WORTH INVESTMENT i highly recommend this.

Bled brakes and clutch with ATE super blue

I personally run Motul RBF600. That's been a pretty popular choice in this forum for as long as I can remember.

I have just stated using ENDLESS Rf650 and can report that it 'feels' so re-assuring when braking VERY late on track...for example braking after the pit lane straight at Brands Hatch...I was giggling each time I braked later with total confidence...!

DOT4. Inexpensive brake fluid? ATE Type 200 & ATE super Blue (doesn't meet DOT spec due to the blue dye). If you have ESP, then it requires a low-viscosity DOT4, such as ATE SL.6 (since ESP were introduced to MKIV's in 2003)

Try some ATE super blue fluid and EBC greenstuff pads.

I decided to go with Castrol GT LMA. It was reasonably priced and should do the job just fine.
