On my Miata I run ATE Typ 200 and aven’t had any issues. I also run Hawk HP+ and some here would say they’re not a track pad, but for a light car they’re great.
Owner reviews for brake fluid
i am going to be doing the VAQ service within the next month and most likely swapping the brake fluid for motul rbf 700 .
I've used a few differed brake fluids. Motul is... fine. Dixcel 5.1 + braided lines + good race pads, has worked for me best at the track.
I prefer endless rf650 brake fluid. Pedal feel is unmatched.
When I was using Dot4, I relied on Pentosin Now I use Bosch Dot5.1
I've been using Stop Tech drilled/slotted rotors and HPS Hawk or Akebono pads. I also have stainless steel brakes lines. But the BEST thing is Motul 5.1 brake fluid. When I switched from DOT 4 to Motul 5.1, my brakes felt unreal!!! Like I put PCCBs on them. The difference was profound. It's no joke.
Using Motul RBF600 fluid, EBC Bluestuff pads, Dixcel disks, HEL SS lines. I go on track multiple times a year
I use the ATE 200 in my NB and will continue to for the foreseeable future it's been great stuff
After a few sessions, I started to go hard on the brakes and turn sharper..etc. During that session, I experienced fluid fade. The paddle went deep and soft but the car still stopped so I was able to conclude that it was fluid fade rather than pad fade.
I caved at the end of November and I bought 2 liters of ATE SL.6 from Amazon (with 2026 \"expiration date\" printed on the bottle) and used one full liter again on my wife's car on December 4th WITH no difference in noise as it sadly still there.
