At 180k I had a whole brake system overhaul, replaced all rotors and pads with new brake fluid. Textar parts all around.
Used a lot of Powerstop brake rotors and pads and I can say that they worked well for me.
Full suspension upgrades - this car handles like a dream! new EBC racing/red brakes with drill/slot rotors.
Keep the solid brembo rotors. They are bullet proof compared to others.
I’ve always preferred Brembo rotors with Hawk, EBC, or Akebono brake pads.
Akebono for comfort, Hawk for longevity, EBC for performance.
Hawk pads are really good for performance as well but they require more heat to work better, while EBC just work great without warmup, but EBC pads do not last long.
As others said, rockauto for parts. CENTRIC rotors are considered the best. Pad choice will only affect brake dust levels for street driving.
He's worked hard with brembo this year to get a set up he likes and they said they made a breakthrough and that's clear in the performance.
I used Raybestos rotors this last time, and they are OK, but they have a little vibration to them.
It's no secret that the OEM warp prone rotors are ShiT!
Zimmermann discs + Textar OEM pads
• After ~2 weeks → felt a clicking/grip when braking no squeak
• Recently brought it back again → they cleaned discs/pads applied lube and even replaced the pads
• Now 2 days later → clicking/grip is back + a new squeak at low speed in parking
