R1 Concepts Brake discs

Ive got r1s on 3 of my cars and love them. Put out a decent amount of brake dust so either learn to live with it or youll be finger banging your wheels to keep them clean. Working on set #2 on my camry, lasted about 40k miles but i drive hard. Handled well thru the mountains

Pros: loved them, handled well
Cons: decent brake dust
Mileage: 64374 km

OEM Hyundai Brake discs

Finally, the local shop ordered OEM Hyundai rotors and replaced them for the third time yesterday. Finally, no more brake shudder! The OEM rotors were way more expensive (the shop ate the extra cost), but they're apparently worth it.

Pros: no more brake shudder, worth it
Cons: way more expensive
Vehicle: Hyundai Santa Fe
Mileage: 149669 km

Raybestos Brake discs

For rotors, you’re lighting money on fire if you get anything other than a set of non coated blanks. You aren’t going fast enough, or running long enough sessions to get them so hot that you need drilled and slotted in an attempt to drop every degree you can off the heat sinks, especially if you aren’t pushing for the full session. A quick browse on RockAuto shows that the cheapest drilled and slotted is just under x3 the price of a Raybestos blank. You can warp a set every weekend and still be way ahead (I promise you won’t warp a set every weekend unless you’re abusing the brakes).

Pros: cost-effective, durable for normal use

Pros: gute Bremswirkung, haltbar
Cons: schnelle Abnutzung, quietschen
Vehicle: Opel Vectra B
Mileage: 50000 km

I bought brembo discs and pads in February for my MOT. First drive they give a final squeal when braking. So annoying. I asked him what the issue could be, and he said it's just what brembo brakes do and therefore he doesn't recommend them.

Cons: annoying squeal when braking
