Lo, and behold, the Golf R front brake calipers and the MkV .:R32 calipers are made by ATE and nearly identical to the ATE calipers on the Volvo V50.

A Mk2 6 line kit will do you just fine here. The Caliper ends up in almost the exact same place as the 9.4 calipers. Ive been runnin Mk2 lines on my 20v car with the Girling 60s for years and theyre not even remotely tight when the car is raised.
Maybe take a look at the Girling 60 calipers and the 11.2 inch rotors from a 'rado g60. Nice large dual piston calipers and 11.2 inch rotors on a mk2 is just about overkill.
those look old i have an 83 and mine look different
i have the girling 60 dual piston calipers i love em i can pretty much lock them any time i want (SS lines and red box pads. stock master cyl)
I currently have 12.3" Audi TT rotors with Porsche 911 (996) calipers. Those brakes works fine, but I want smaller brakes so I can fit 15" wheels.
i have the same thing on mine, with rear disks & MKIV calipers, it stops on a dime
I'm running the audi calipers and G60 11" rotors and drums in the rear. love the brakes on my car
I just put the audi 2 piston calipers and SS lines on the front of my 2.0. Also put ATE super blue in. Haven't done ther rear conversion or lines yet. What I have noticed is that the pedal goes further before it starts to clamp, but when it does..... its almost like driving a hummer, if any of you have you know what i mean. Any ideas on the reason for that change?
I put a set of GLI calipers & rotors on when someone else upgraded. Really didn't notice a big difference, both in weight or stopping power.
