My 5 cylinder Volvo V60 with snow tires was the best winter car I've ever driven.
Volvo parts reviews
When I drove a Volvo I just did a belt and water pump every year. OE Aisin one every time.
In the last 10 years and 55.000 km the R behaved very well, only regular maintenance (brakes, tyres, wheel bearings, timing belt)
He only checks my tires right before a long trip, but I regularly maintain my own car just because it’s a new Volvo hybrid and I *LOVE* that car so damn much that I’ll only let the certified mechanic touch it
Turns out it was the starter, sometimes it didn't engage and when it did is didn't disengage
Most you can do is Brembo X-tra pads or equivalent.
The last three oil changes were done at an independent auto shop using FCP Euro Volvo 0W-20 Oil Change Kit (32140029KT2) - Liqui Moly oil.
Clean Volvo headlights always cost money but Dealer replaced genuine parts are.. apparently 6k CAD.
I have a similar crack, xc40 recharge. It’s got a bit bigger now and no unfortunately not covered by warranty unless one has purchased the windscreen warranty for $2000 on top of extended warranty and some other warranty, tires perhaps or wheels can’t remember but I declined.
my 24 v60 windshield cracked twice in a span of first 11 months and 11k mile of ownership. My previous car, I had one chip in 11 years and 132k miles. I wonder if Volvo windshield is weak or I have bad luck.
