My old Volvo S60 just had new discs and pads all round (did them with a friend)... under £250, and that included a caliper.
Volvo parts reviews
XC90 T8, total 135k km on the clock and have done 85k km ourselves:
- previous owner did the brake pads at about 40k km
- we have now done front and rear brake pads recently (so after about 90k km use), both front and rear still had about 3mm to go.
It could bark the tires coming out of a roundabout ;-)
EESTIT MAINUTUD RAAWWWRRRR
Michelen X-ice for my XC60. Now I crunch everywhere I go but necessary in this environment.
Don\u2019t let them discourage you. If you have a place to park it and work on it and you want it then get it. Worst comes worst you are out $900 and have a car to learn on. My first project was doing a head gasket on a t5 volvo and everyone said that it would be too hard to learn how to work on a car with. It wasn\u2019t easy or cheap compared to Hondas but I had a turbo 5 cylinder volvo when I fixed it.
He replaced the spark plugs and tested all of the ignition coils. Still had error code.
I had a 2018 v60 polestar and even with the pilot sport tires it was passable for winter driving.
I got my EX30 about 4 months ago and the wipers that came with it already damaged from the Dubai heat. Volvo quoted me $150 to replace them, which feels crazy if they’re just the same weak wipers.
