I always use Bosch icons. Rain and snow they work really well and they last a long time. It’s the only brand I use anyways since they’re the only ones that fit snugly on my VW.

I replaced the garbage Bridgestone OEMs on my 2020 Jetta S manual with Firestone all weather at 29250 miles.I am totally pleased with them they are quiet and ride and handle nice and good in the rain.
2023 VR6, noticed coolant low, I added the proper coolant and the dealer pressure tested during our service appointment.
the TCR muffler was the perfect level of volume IMO. You could hear it under heavy throttle but otherwise very sedate for day to day driving.
I used Mobil 1 for 20+years but now I’m using liquid moly because it’s pretty much free with fcp
Mahle is probably the OEM manufacturer for VW/Audi for this part and possibly others. They’re not selling it through the dealer so they grind off the logo instead of making separate molds.
remember there are 5-7 different brake pad manufacture's that VW uses and slaps their logo on it. Buying from dealer or third party with a VW logo on it doesn't mean they are exactly perfect. its a shame that VW charges those prices and still have this issue, yet you could buy jane plane TRW/ATE pads and be fine.
To save you money, they probably did not need to change right rear caliper if only your left one was seized. They also could’ve given you options for prices on brakes and rotors as it appears they quoted you for dealer quality brake pads.
There is an adapter in the Costco package that looks correct but is a little too big. There is a spacer on that piece that you can pry off so that it fits. It looks like it’s all one piece and it’s tough to get off.
I tested the coil and found it to be faulty (that's what I get for buying a cheap one). The first time I tested it, it seemed to be fine but that was on the truck. This time I took it off to make sure I got a good connection and sure enough it fell out of range on both of those tests....
