Seeking a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 225/40/18 tires for my MK7 GTI's Austin wheels. Had an alignment issue on my GTI that chewed up the inner edges of my front tires—unfortunately, not covered under warranty. I'm about ~30k miles in on this set, and the rears are still solid, so I’m hoping to find a pair of moderately worn replacements to swap for a year or so until it's time to replace 'em all. These are pretty popular tires (among the best performing and the "Costco special"), so I'm checking here in case someone has a couple collecting dust in their garage. Ideal tread depth would be in the 6/32"+ range. Located in the tri-state area (Brooklyn-based, but also spend time in Rockland County NY) and willing to travel a bit for pickup. Let me know what you’ve got! Thanks!

The oem lasts longer and fits perfectly so I’m ok with the price. Same for front blades.
i have contis. better than the dunlops it came with.
I have found on my '25 SE 4Motion, that just going into the custom section of the menu, adjusting the steering and changing the OEM tires to Grand Touring all-seasons (Vredestein HiTrac) has made a world of difference in control, handling and enjoyment of my Taos.
I bought a 19 SEL brand new and have been using the Peak exclusively. I’ve had no issues.
i have a 21 jetta, been using the valvoline one, no issues
In the early aughts I scored a set of the Girling 54 calipers from a 16v and my dad and I rebuilt and painted them before installing in my first '84. I didn't upgrade the MC (didn't know better at the time) so the brake pedal travel increased but the braking improved so I kept the set up ... until the next annual MO state vehicle inspection where the car failed for excessive brake pedal travel The 9.4" set up went back on.
That’s why less than a month after getting mine I ditched all those crappy Conti’s for a set of Michelin PS4 AS. Same tires I have on my Corvette. No blow outs but I did find when I got my car home after purchasing it one Conti had a bulge in it the dealership completely missed during the CPO inspection
They checked the oil and sure enough they put double the oil in her engine.
2023 Taos I'm at 25k miles and rear rotors and brakes need replacement. metal on metal destroyed the rotors.
