These tsi motors tend to run hotter then standard engines. I would top off the car (once cooled typically around a hour) open it up and take it to the line above minimum, that\u2019ll be your maximum. Watch it over the next few weeks. If it goes below minimum again, you have some sort of leak.

I also found there oil additives good when I had my 11 year old MK6 just felt smoother when I started using it
But this GTI is on E, sitting at 221k, and I’m already doing 3,500‑mile oil changes; the Liqui Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush is just extra insurance to keep the internals clean so the old girl keeps pulling hard.
I run LiquiMoly 75/90 in my manual VWs.
Our 04 Jetta TDI is still running great and doing its thing. We did swap it to a manual transmission which is actually fairly straight forward with these vehicles too.
Rotors: Zimmermann blanks.
Took it in to a shop today. They said calliper needs replacing. Rear driver side. Said they will put a new calliper, do a brake fluid flush, readjust the hand brake. I said break flush was done just about 3 months ago. It’s a clean light golden yellow color still. The mechanic said still needs to be done to get air out of the system. Seems logical. They quoted $740+tax. Does that sound reasonable?
If changing oil at 15k kms interval has served you well for 2 lakh kilometers, then I'd recommend sticking to it instead of switching to an oil with long service life. 30k kms oil change interval claim is a big stretch. I've used LiquiMoly 5w-40 with my Polo 1.2L TDI. Drove it close to or may be more than 20k kms over the course of 3 years until the check engine light came on. Immediately changed to OEM engine oil and for some reason the check engine light went away. Except with LiquiMoly, I've always changed engine oil at 15k kms or 1 year whichever was earlier. This is what my car's manufacturer recommends and I'll follow it even if I use LiquiMoly again.
My 2024 blew a head gasket at 19k miles.
ID has had nearly zero running costs except for tires and electricity, and one tie rod end that needed replacement early.
