Wix Oil filter

Both Wix and Purolator are made by the same company, Mann & Hummel so the top of the line filters (Purolator Boss & Wix XP) are about identical. IDK about the 20k mile one, haven't touched it yet but it should be on par or better than the Boss.

You can't go wrong with either as they are some of my favorite filters on the market due to how clean the internal construction & how solid the material quality is. The highest end Frams are fine to run but still not as good as Wix or Purolator, and nothing below Frams highest line is worth running imo.

Pros: clean construction, solid quality
Vehicle: Nissan

Hawk Performance Brake pads

I have these, like others have said you can just get stock 33 GTR pads and rotors off of z1 if your in the states. I recommend if it’s in your budget DB5000(front)3000?(I think for rear) and some hawk ceramics, braided lines. It’s a huge difference from stock by upgrading whole system and depending on how much you drive it will last forever. I’m on like year 6 since upgrades and and the pads and hats are still in great shape

Pros: long lasting, great shape
Vehicle: Nissan Skyline

OEM Nissan Timing chain

I was stressed to have my 2006 S 2WD chain replaced after 120k miles, but never really found service requirements (vice dealership recommended service crap). Also - I procrastinate a lot. Then I ran across a Nissan engineering service document that stated the chain was rated “for the service life of the engine” - it was the plastic tensioners that would wear out.

Pros: chain rated for life
Cons: plastic tensioners wear out
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 200000 km

DUNLOP Tires

Absolute garbage in winter here in central new york. Need one say more. Summer tire in warm wet conditions are satisfactory. Cold dry conditions they have a slight slippery feel and if there's any cold wet conditions like below 50 they tend to move the car around.

Pros: satisfactory in warm wet
Cons: garbage in winter
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 7000 km

NGK Spark plug

That gap is INSANE, or at least appears to be.

In case you were wondering why those plugs look different, that plug on the left you’ve chosen (BKR5EIX11) is a plug that doesn’t match the longevity characteristics that Nissan originally set. The electrode basically isn’t designed to last as long.

Cons: electrode not designed to last
Vehicle: Nissan Maxima
Part number: BKR5EIX11
