I don't know what it's doing inside my engine but I just did my 2nd oil change with R&P and noticed my dipstick looks new now. No signs of any varnish, just shiny clean metal.

I own a '15 Leaf. Bought it two years ago. So far, my only needed maintenance has been tires a couple months ago, and wiper blades right after I got it.
Brake inspection during the tire rotation, replace as needed (haven't needed to yet thanks to regenerative braking - I'm at 62k and I think I have OEM brakes).
I have an 11 year old first generation Nissan leaf. I’ve had it for 6 years and in that time I’ve replaced the air filter 3 times and changed the tyres once.
Mmmm interesting, u must have bought a lemon. I Bought a new Nissan Deisel Ute in 2018, been all over the country, does heaps of Ks and towing. Original Nissan battery is only just showing signs of needing replacement. I can't complain.
This is the combination that worked for me - Akebono 370z calipers - 2 piece floating DBA rotors w/ aluminum hats - Winmax W6 pads - 3" ducts from front bumper to backside of the hubs. An advantage to the aluminum hats is it really reduced heat transfer into the hubs, improving the life of the bearings. The floating design helps prevent warping and cracking from the stress of all the thermal cycling.
Cabin air filter is something you need to replace periodically. $130 seems high but I have tried it myself and found it to be a PITA. I took it to a dealer, who charged something like $100 but it felt worth it to me.
My Nissan eats batteries, about every 2 years. Nissan brand or not. It just likes new ones I guess
oil pan is by design very tender. a lot of people have had it broken. dealerships want 200+ for new one.
