Cooper Tires

I have 17" Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 all seasons on my 2017 hatch and have been liking them. About 15k km on them so far and no complaints. Got a great deal on them at Canadian Tire!

Pros: no complaints
Vehicle: Mazda 3
Mileage: 15000 km

MICHELIN Tires

I put Michelin Defenders on my car, I needed a fairly durable all season tire for the Michigan roads. Plus the warranty on them is something insane like 80,000 miles. I did notice a small drop in fuel efficiency, but the flip side has been that it's nigh impossible to slide or skid (I've tried, trust me) with them.

Pros: durable all season tire
Cons: small drop in efficiency
Vehicle: Mazda 3

Exedy Clutch kit
finelyshreddedgnar
  • Engagement smoothness:
Rating 4.5

Thats what I have in my NC, it has been great for my 2.5 swapped car. Clutch feel is very good, a little heavier than stock but not much. Flywheel is very livable too.

Pros: great performance, good clutch feel
Cons: a little heavier

WeatherTech Sun shades
MadrigalRose
  • Shade:
  • Fit:
Rating 5.0

I really like the Weathertech sun shade for my 2018 sedan. I had a folding one for a previous car that worked okay but this one fits and works better. Don't need to use the visors either.

Pros: fits better, works better, no visors needed
Vehicle: Mazda 3

Pros: engine runs fine, starts easy
Cons: worse millage

FACET Thermostat
Just_a_happy_artist
  • Overheating:
  • Cabin heat:
Rating 0.5

I replace the thermostat and it is not opening…I have let the car run for over half hour, even went for a short drive, nothing, the thermostat is not opening. I was only able to put half the collant in, and the heater isn’t blowing any heat ( makes actually a weird noise when I change settings) is it possible that a brand new thermostat ( rock auto, Brand is Facet) could be defective?

Cons: thermostat not opening, heater not blowing heat, possibly defective
Vehicle: Mazda
