Reviews of WeatherTech parts For Business
USA
We will never buy anything other than Weathertec. We have had it in ALL of our vehicles over the years. Pricey but amazing quality with a deep well to store all the melted salty slush we get up here in Ontario.
I ended up getting the weather techs. They are always great and I had the light interior so I got the light grey ones to match. It’s really close to the greys in the interior. On sale they only ended up 30$ more than the Amazon ones. They fit perfect.
The Weather Techs I bought for my mk7 GTI had the problem around the gas pedal, the ones I bought for the 8.5 R cover that area very well. I am happy with them, and happy not to give Bezos any more of my money. Buy direct from an American company.
the WeatherTech's I have for my Mk8 cover behind the accelerator pedal..... And whereas the WeatherTech's on my Mk7 GTI delaminated around the right heel area, these new Mk8's are made of a single layer of TPU and won't do that. I don't care for the honeycomb OEM ones, they get hazy-dirty and are difficult to clean down in all the nooks and crannies, no matter what the climate or season. I like how the WeatherTechs don't have so many contours to clean in and around, they're primarily rubber tubs. Perfect for this sloppy time of year in Michigan.
How do you like the WeatherTech floormats? What material are they? I ask because I've only had one set of weathertechs and I did not like them, found them to be very hard plastic compared to the softer sort of rubber OEM weather mats I've gotten from BMW and Porsche.
I’ve had a few sets of Weathertecs, in various vehicles. Fit well, but I’ve had some that curled up along the edges, especially the passenger side front. Replaced under warranty, replacements did exactly the same, catching your foot when entering vehicle.
This is from passengers pushing forward on the mats and it bunches up in the footwell like that, best bet is to put some velcro under the mat to keep it anchored in place. Mine used to do this until I velcroed it and now it unwrinkled itself and looks fine.
As a professional detailer, they are junk. They are really porous and they are hard to get clean, especially with mud.
The weather tech in the front row. They don't feel premium for the price. I didn't like the weather tech.
