Best Battery for Mazda 3

2014 Mazda 3 with 322,000 kms, it's doing fine. I'm still on original engine, transmission and starter. I use it almost daily in traffic. The only problem is that the battery is slightly more costly than a standard one, which offsets the miniscule fuel savings you're getting from the system

Just replaced battery on my Mazda 3 2018.

Di naman inabot ng hindi na ma-start. The i-stop orange sign started blinking + warning sign = i knew battery voltage was low.

Just last week I had to change the original battery, because I was abroad for almost three months and the car had not been started even a single time. I left it outside and it's been constant -1/-5 Celsius here. So naturally the battery went.

My 2019 Mazda 3 died on me randomly a couple months ago. The dealership ran a test on it and it came out fine. I changed it anyway as it was a stock 5 year old battery. It’s been fine since, even in the -20°C temps where I am.

In 2021 am achizitionat o baterie de pe autokarma si inca o folosesc si merge probleme. In cazul meu, am achizitionat o baterie Exide(auto stop EFB 60AH- approx 430 lei), pentru o Mazda 3 benzina.

My battery conked out at the normal time after 6 years. But it still didn’t give me any warning that it was dying. 2019 Mazda 3 here

These are excellent cars but for some reason the batteries they use are bad. I had a 21 Mazda 3. The battery failed in 2023. They replaced it under warranty. The new battery lasted literally less than 6 months.

It was a P.O.S. Panasonic battery that is known to die prematurely. Only had 28k miles on the car when it died and had to get it replaced.

I’ve had my 3 for 4 years and I’m on my 3rd battery.

Basically many of the oem stock items for mazda are fine, but have notoriously short life expectancy. They have to cut corners somewhere. Battery and tires are the ones I've noticed that are good for a couple years at most before they are ran through. So yeah, I've had a mazda thay needed a new battery after 2 years, one that needed a new battery after 3 years. Just how they go.
