If you do end up replacing it. I have found success with the exedy clutch kit and luk flywheel combo.
Mazda parts reviews
My 2022 CX30 premium came with Bridgestone tires. Pretty good tires so far.
At 55,XXX miles and still haven’t changed my brakes on 2019 AWD Mazda 3(not as heavy as yours but heavier than a FWD 3) Last service, I was in the green for both sets still, but they said I would likely be in “yellow” by 60-65k. I did want to note—I hear no scraping/squealing and brakes feel relatively strong just not as great as new.
Just changed mine on a 2020. Raybestos premium rotors and Akebono premium pads from Rockauto
Power stop is a great upgrade, I use the z23 pads.
2016 mazda 6 touring here..:when i bought the car with 27k miles the dealer put brand new Kuhmo tires on…:i just replaced them at 91k miles with continental extreme contacts. so yes….i would recommend the kuhmo as a good tire. i got 64k miles out of those bastards.
I just replaced the tires on my 2015 6 with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06s, and they are awesome. Quiet, good feel, a little less busy in the center (which makes them great for long miles on the freeway), and soooo much super confident grip.
I had Quatrac Pros on my last car. (2014 Mazda 6 Touring). They were quiet and rode nice, but I was underwhelmed by their snow performance.
Have had my CX-30 through one Minnesota winter thus far on the stock Turanzas. Got through fine, but the car was also only about 4-5 months old at that time. I have already noticed some issues going into my second winter, one semi snowy day where nothing accumulated and I was sliding through roundabouts and was a little nervous about going around bends in the road.
They are pretty good in dry weather, but absolutely terrible in snow. If you typically encounter snow, invest in snow tires.
